The KUTRRH (NICU), or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, offers specialized care for infants who are born too early, have a low birth weight, or are unwell or susceptible to other medical problems. The NICU team comprises a diverse group of experts, such as neonatologists, registered nurses specializing in neonatal care, nutritionists, and other allied healthcare professionals, all dedicated to your baby’s well-being.
In case of any health complications before or after delivery, your healthcare providers might request the presence of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to ensure the best outcomes for the baby and the mother.
The NICU at KUTRRH provides family-focused care by assisting and engaging with parents and caregivers. Parents are at liberty to visit the NICU at their convenience. However, we have implemented infection control measures to safeguard this delicate patient population from potential infections.
Our dedication extends beyond merely providing medical care for infants. We strive to create a positive impact on the well-being of both babies and their families, addressing emotional and physical needs. We take a holistic approach to care, wherein we view babies and their families as active participants and partners in their healthcare journey.
