The glue that holds Nursing Services together is a team of close to 200 medical-surgical nurses who serve as the bridge between all the specialties. The medical-surgical units offer care to patients in the medical wards, surgical wards, and isolation units. Given the high burden of communicable and noncommunicable diseases in the country and the region at large, the nurses of KUTRRH play a critical role in the provision of promotive, preventive, and curative services. This is geared towards the achievement of patient-centered care and excellent outcomes. KUTRRH Nursing Services also participate in outreaches and medical camps within and outside the hospital campus.
