KUTRRH is home to one of the largest Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the country with a 24-bed capacity, 3 of which are isolated. A 15-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is also available. Additionally, the Hospital has a 50-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU). The Critical Care Department is supported by a team of experienced Medical Specialists, Medical Officers and Critical Care Nurses. The nurse to patient ration in ICU is 1:1 while in HDU is 1:2.
The ICU & the HDU beds in the hospital have been designed with critically ill patients in mind. They combine advanced technology with smart ergonomics and intuitive operation. The beds have the following unique features:
