KUTRRH team will travel to the US from 19th – 23rd June 2022 to inspect the CyberKnife machine before it is shipped. The team comprising of a section of board members led by the chairperson, Prof. Olive Mugenda and Ag. CEO, Dr. Victor Njom and a technical team will visit Accuracy Inc. factory to inspect the machine prior to its shipment. Thereafter, they will visit several hospitals where the machine is under use for benchmarking. Upon installation, CyberKnife’s stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) system will enable clinicians at KUTRRH to confidently deliver precise, highly effective hypofractionated radiation treatments. This shall be possible while ensuring speedy delivery, workflow efficiency and patient comfort
