Activist Okiya Omtatah has lost a case seeking to stop the official launch of the Kenyatta University Teaching Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH).
The Milimani court dismissed the petition on 16th October 2019, giving the hospital the green light to carry out its normal operations including the up and coming official launch.
The activist had lost another petition he had filed in April 2019 against the Hospital’s Board of Directors.
The 650-bed capacity Hospital equipped with the state-of-art medical equipment and amenities was established as a state corporation on 25th January 2019.
The official launch preparations are underway.
