Having partnered with both public and private healthcare Insurance providers in Kenya, you can now access the quality and affordable health services you need.
The insurance industry and the health sector have long had a symbiotic relationship. The insurance sector caters to the individual that needs medical treatment at a cheaper cost while the Hospital provides quality patient-centred care.
Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral, and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) recognized the importance
of the Insurance Industry in the achievement of its goals and engaged select stakeholders in the industry.
KUTRRH invited representatives from ten insurance providers in Kenya for a Breakfast meeting at Four Points by Sheraton in Hurlingham. The agenda was for the Ag. CEO, Dr. Victor Njom, to give a presentation showcasing KUTRRH services and engage in a Q&A session with the insurance representatives.
The breakfast by Four Points by Sheraton was excellent, and the meeting began with a short presentation by the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) representative Ms. Sheila Gichuhi. By the time the CEO was done with his presentation, the Insurance representatives were duly impressed.
It was then agreed that a hospital tour was required before any Service Level Agreements (SLAs) could be signed. When they took the tour, the Insurers were impressed with the services offered, especially the executive suites.
We continuously and consistently improve our health care services, and the recent engagements with the insurance providers in Kenya is part of the larger goal to be a leading Referral Hospital in Sub Saharan Africa.
