Dr. Peter Cherutich

Dr. Peter Cherutich is a public health specialist and a Senior Deputy Director of medical services in the Ministry of Health, Kenya. He is the First PhD Graduate in Implementation Science. He founded and led several HIV prevention programs including Male Circumcision. He has past experience in Preventive and Promotive Health including disease preparedness for Ebola and Marburg Viral Diseases, and other emerging and re-emerging diseases. He has provided leadership to public health programs including HIV, TB, Malaria, Reproductive and Child Health as well as Neglected Tropical Diseases.
