World Housekeeping Week, celebrated annually in the second week of September, is a time to recognize and appreciate these unsung heroes who ensure our living spaces are clean, organized, and comfortable.

During the 2023 Mashujaa day, nurses crowned the Chairperson of KUTRRH, Prof Mugenda as their shu­jaa. Mashujaa Day, also referred to as Heroes' Day is a national day in Kenya, to celebrate those who fought for Kenya's independence and those who have significantly positively contributed to the post independence Kenya.
