Fact-Finding Visit to Strengthen Specialized Healthcare
Kenya University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) today hosted the National Assembly Committee on Health for a fact-finding visit aimed at gaining deeper insights into the Hospital’s achievements, ongoing programmes, emerging opportunities and challenges in delivering specialized healthcare to Kenyans.
Led by the Committee Chairperson, Hon. James Nyikal, the delegation toured key areas of the Hospital and engaged the KUTRRH leadership and healthcare teams on the institution’s role in advancing specialized, affordable and accessible healthcare in Kenya.

The visit provided an opportunity for KUTRRH to showcase its growing capacity in specialized treatment, medical training, research and innovation.
The Hospital continues to strengthen its position as a leading referral and teaching institution, with an emphasis on expanding access to advanced healthcare services within the country.

During the engagement, the Committee appreciated the importance of strengthening specialized healthcare services, investing in modern medical infrastructure and supporting the development of highly skilled healthcare professionals.
