Ms Janet Lang’at

Ms. Janet Lang’at is an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH), representing the Hon. Attorney General. She holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Maseno University, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Moi University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She has also undertaken specialized training in mediation and negotiation at the International Law Institute, further strengthening her expertise in legal practice, strategic leadership, and dispute resolution.

Ms. Lang’at has over 20 years of professional experience in both the public and private legal sectors, with extensive service in various capacities within the Office of the Attorney General. Throughout her career, she has successfully represented and defended the Government in high-profile litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen and strategic judgment. She brings to the KUTRRH Board a wealth of legal knowledge, governance experience, and leadership that supports the Hospital’s commitment to sound corporate governance and effective decision-making.
