Ms. Gladys Ogallo

Gladys is an experienced and accomplished board member, serving on both Africa and International boards. She has sector experience in Telecommunications, Banking, Insurance, Investment and Education with special reference to managing Human Resources.
She is currently the Managing Director of Virtual Human Resources Services Ltd, a Human Resource consulting company with partnerships in South Africa. Gladys is an adjunct faculty at Strathmore Business School, where she facilitates leadership training to senior executives at the Business School
She serves on the board of HFC Bank Limited, the largest mortgage bank in East & Central Africa. Gladys is the chairman of the Risk Committee of the Bank and a member of several board committees
Gladys also serves on the United Nations, International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Group on Capacity Building Initiatives (GCBI), based in Geneva Switzerland. Gladys is the Vice Chairman.
Gladys has previously served on the Board Development Committee of Kenya Red Cross, a humanitarian organization that is dedicated to alleviating human suffering. She also served on the board of Pacis Insurance Company, and was the Chairman of the Remuneration & IT Committees. Previously, she also served on the board of Crystal Ventures, the largest Investment company in Rwanda
Her rich two-decades career in HR management has seen her manage and later consult for leading organizations across the continent where she deploys expertise in talent management, talent development, Assessment tests, Labour law, recruitment and performance management. Gladys HR career has spanned several countries including Ghana, Cote d’ivoire, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Swaziland, Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Gladys Ogallo holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Education degree.
Gladys is a sought after speaker and has been a facilitator of several Global functions in New York, South Korea, Geneva, Portugal, Zambia, Egypt and South Africa among others.
